Brief History of Finland

#13. Second Year Scholarship – University of Vaasa Global Student Award for Academic Excellence

The University of Vaasa, Vaasa, Finland offers the Second year scholarship to provide financial support for international applicants who have enrolled for a Master’s at the University and are required to pay tuition fees. Under this scholarship program, Each Master’s program will provide five 50% tuition fee waivers to the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth best-ranked tuition fee subjected students based on the previous academic merits reviewed during the application process. #14. Aalto University Scholarship program

This University Scholarship program seeks to recognize talented non-EU/EEA students. Aalto University scholarships are merit-based and are granted on a competitive basis. The scholarships are awarded as tuition fee waivers. They cover either 50 % (Category B) or 100 % (Category A) of the tuition fee. These scholarships do not cover accommodation costs. Scholarships are granted for the normative period of study of the degree program. The normative study period is three (3) years full-time study for a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years full-time study for a master’s degree. #15. HAIC Scholarship for Security and Cloud Computing

Helsinki-Aalto Center for Information Security (HAIC) will select several HAIC Scholars from the top applicants admitted to the Security and Cloud Computing within the Master’s Programme in Computer, Communication, and Information Sciences or SECCLO – Master’s Programme in Security and Cloud Computing (Erasmus Mundus) at Aalto University, Finland. A HAIC Scholar will receive generous financial aid including living cost support in the form of living cost scholarships or honors student position (part-time research-related employment during the semesters).
