About Atlanta Christian College?

Atlanta Christian College was founded in 1937 by Thomas Olin Hathcock (1879–1966), a prominent Fulton County, Georgia judge from 1914 until 1942. He and his wife, Nora Head Hathcock, were members of the Christian churches and churches of Christ, the denomination that the institution has always been affiliated with. The property for the 300-acre campus was from a farm Nora Hathcock had inherited. Following its 1937 founding, Atlanta Christian College devoted itself mainly to the education of ministers, missionaries, and other church-related workers.  In 1965, the college became an accredited member of the American Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). In 1990, in conjunction with a broadening of its curriculum, the college was accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Partnerships with Atlanta Christian College

Point University continues to make moves to better its connectivity between administrators and people and systems across all modalities. One of such partnerships was with Campus, a contemporary, mobile, and web-based portal platform. After a lengthy search, Point chose Campus to create a seamless, one-stop-shop approach to the higher ed experience for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. “As one of the fastest-growing Christian universities in the country, Point was looking for a solution to engage all of our student populations, along with our faculty and staff,” said Bill Dorminy, director of IT.” The campus provided a platform that easily integrates all of our current systems and gives us a way to communicate, together, as a single community of students, faculty, and staff. With Campus, it doesn’t matter if you are an online student or faculty member in a different state, or a traditional student at our main campus, everyone can collaborate and be informed about what’s going on at Point University.” Chase Williams, the Campus CEO, commented, “Campus now works alongside several faith-based institutions whose mission is to serve the whole student and help people connect to all aspects of life. This is affirming to us for many reasons. Through our genuine partnership and support model, and through the ultra-modern platform we have built, Campus has a very similar mission. So, this partnership makes great sense both commercially and philosophically.” 17 Best Colleges with Film Production Majors in 2021
