About EWSETA

The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA), one of the 21 SETAs in South Africa, is a skills development authority who are responsible for serving the energy and water sectors. EWSETA has the responsibility for the management of skills development in the National Skills Development Strategy III framework. Even the EWSETA’s key focus areas comprise electricity services; petrol; energy and renewable energy.

Scholarship Benefits

Applicants should meet the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please notice that failure to meet each of the prerequisites will probably result in an application not being considered):

must be a South African citizenApplicant must be currently studying or accepted to study at a recognized South African tertiary institution, in the Energy and Water-related fieldPreference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged communities, female students, as well as students with disabilities
