At the same time, everyday extraordinary people across the globe are courageously working towards equity, justice, and a better future. Now is an important time to listen and learn from each other. My Story wants to highlight the powerful work that you are doing to create a more just and equal world. Whether you are a teenager in Texas organizing dialogues between local police and students; a team of educators in Guatemala delivering learning materials to girls in rural areas,
A group of young women in Nairobi distributing health and menstrual hygiene supplies; or an organization in Thailand teaching film-making to young people — they want to hear your stories and amplify your voice. So, relax and carefully read through the information we have put down in this post, which I strongly believe will be of great help to you when applying for the challenge. Before we continue, let’s go through the table of content below to get an overview of what the article entails. Storytelling can be a transformational catalyst for impact and long-term social change. Ours is told through film, television, social media videos, graphic novels, radio, curricula, and more.  Which began with a movie about nine unforgettable girls, written by award-winning authors and voiced by some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.  Today, it stands at the heart of our programs that help girls and their communities grow and reach many more through public screenings.
