About China Scholarship Council
The China Scholarship Council is the Chinese Ministry of Education’s non-profit organization that provides Student financial aid to Chinese citizens and foreigners to study abroad or to study in China, respectively. CSC also manages the Chinese government award for outstanding self-financed students abroad, which is established in 2003, with a total of 4914 awardees till 2015. CSC Scholarships are offered in more than 3000 Chinese Universities every year. Chinese Government Scholarships (CGS) are sponsored by the Chinese Scholarship Council that is also known as a CSC Scholarship.
